Nest heat link thermostat problem

Hi folks,
I'm having a few issues installing my nest 3 thermostat with my boiler, my old thermostat was the old school clock with constant/timed/off the original cabling for which going to boiler has live, neutral, earth and switched live which I can't seem to find instructions for any where,

I have tried the switched live in the satisfied (slot 1) and the call for heat (slot 3) but neither seem to work,

boiler is a a baxi solo2pf gas boiler

can any one help?
 
Old thermostat was a clock? Was it a programmable rom thermostat. Just to confirm, you have a heating only boiler? If existing is just a programmer, do you also have a room thermostat? What is the existing wiring layout - can you post a photo of the wiring?
