Neutral Fault - Fluke ST240 tester - double socket

Hi there,

I’ve just finished wiring up a ring main in my garage. It’s mostly populated with double sockets.

I tested each socket with my Fluke ST240 and all showed good with one exception which showed a Neutral Fault.

Given that the doubles share their input, I can only guess this socket is faulty.

They’re double-pole switched by the way…

Any thoughts?
 
I would agree, seems likely a faulty socket. As an electrician, I have not used the cheap testers, I was required to enter the loop impedance etc on the paperwork.
