    Good afternoon all,

I have just priced some work and got into a conversation with the owner and we did not come to an answer.

She has bought a brand spanking new property from a large home builder that rhymes with Parrots.

The property has a brick skin but has a completely timber construction.

My question, Is this a "non standard" construction or standard? As I know there is a lot of properties being constructed this way and would be surprised if all these buyers were getting specialised mortgages for them.

    thanks for the time!!
    kisses

I think most timber framed houses are sill classed as non-standard.

Think it's standard nowadays providing traditional it's a timber frame and not SIPS
Would have to check with insurer/mortgage lender on their specific policy
