No singing at work please

Well here is a first for me. As a popular personality and general happy person I decided some of the staff at work needed a bit of a lift and bring some cheer into the day.
So I jumped up into the cherry picker at work and started singing "I love you baby" and doing a little dance in the basket.
Now all of the staff loved it and joined in singing with me, even the line leaders and supervisors were clapping and whisteling so no one was offended.
Then one of the Health & safety bods appeared who was female so I directed my chorus of I love you baby whilst pointing and dancing in the cage.
She told me I had to come down and stop singing as it was against company rules? Although when I enquired where is this listed she said it isnt written down but was a rule.
Why on earth are some people so miserable and why do we have to be miserable at work, what rules have I broken?

So, if you had stayed up there you could carry on ...

Maybe you should tell her it is a rule that "when above ground, I have to sing to ensure people know I am there!" And it is to ensure the safety/awareness of others below.

There's a time and a place ;)
Well you are in the minority as the whole factory from one end to the other was singing along. It was a bit of fun for a total of two mins max, it actually uplifted everyones spirits and moral and everyone was smiling after. I did nothing wrong other than make everyone happy for a change. Had you been in the crowd with a miserable face it would have been you that was the odd one out.

I would of pushed the e-stop in and left you up there all day :p

She kicked him off because:
  1. He doesn't have a license
  2. He wasn't wearing a harness
  3. He was out of tune
  4. He didn't pick her cherry
:eek::p:D
None of the above as I have everything. I think the H&S lady was jealous because all the women were pointing up to me and singing "Your just to good to be true"
