I hope this is the right forum.

Hoping an experienced plasterer could give me some advice.

I’m 28, unemployed and I want to complete a NOCN CSkill Award Level 1 in Plastering. It’s an expensive course and I guess I would like to know, in your experience, is this a worthwhile qualification? Would it help me get employment as a plasterer on completion so I could then work on my NVQ L2?

There are many courses but not all of them seem legit.

Any advice would be really useful.

    Thanks
    Ali

I am not a plasterer but have done a lot. I dont know how much the course is or how long but I would suggest you find a willing plasterer you can labour for! You can learn much more, dont expect to be paid initially but take the opportunity to learn. Its a great skill and working with a plasterer will hurry you along.
