Looking for some advice, I live in a new build and all of the water pipes are plastic, when the washer is filling with water and then stops suddenly I get a squeak from a pipe that is in the ceiling (it goes through the I-beam joists and it has plenty of room around them). I have popped out a spot light in the kitchen and can see the pipe that has the squeak.

When the washer stops filling I can see the pipe moving up and down slightly but not sure what is causing the squeak? Has any of you head/seen this before and can pin point me to what I need to do to get rid of the noise, its driving me crazy.

For info I have a water pressure regulator fitted to the main water feed into the house and it is set to 3.5 bar.

Is it the fact there is space around the pipe between the pipe and the joist that’s causing the noise or is it a joint connector?
