My son wanted this for his 18th birthday - its a joy stick and controller based on an A10 Warthog http://www.thrustmaster.com/products/hotas-warthog Somehow felt uncomfortable buying a "Joy stick" from a company called Thrust master
Very good products from Thrustmaster, haven't use the Warthog version, which has 51 buttons, beautifully made from metal, very heavy & very little to match it. The Saitek X56 (now owned by Logitech) equivalant is made in plastic, not a patch on Thrustmaster.
I chust baulked at my own son asking for a new graphics card at £100. Of course I relented - and found a 2nd hand one for £60...
How do you expect your son to play the lastest games on old technology... I have around £400 put aside for a new AMD graphic card, which is due out in a few weeks.
Haven't had a new graphic card in six years, there are a lot of new additions added to a new graphic card drivers, like DX12 support, larger resolutions supported, etc, I have a pair of 27" monitors & I can't use them with present graphic card, wanting improved graphics for my flight sim.
