Hi all
I have just removed some old blue half moon coping stones from my wall and have bolstered off the mortar (yes hands hurt/killing me).
How do I clean off all the dirt etc and some hard white stuff before relaying?
I’m thinking of putting and soaking for a bit in water and then scrubbing with a hard brush not wire one (scratches)?
Is there anything else I can use that may help this process and what is the very hard white stuff in between the old mortar and stone?
If I can use an acid on these stones which would you recommend?
