    Please help ?

Having just received permission to build an extension i`ve been checking out the existing wiring to pull through to the new build. From the fuse box (x6 old wire fuses)the wires go into a kind of distribution box in one of the bedrooms, it appears they are not wired in a ring main but in radial circuit as the (sockets/lighting) have no return.
    Q. How can you spur of for x5 double sockets & a cooker (40A) from fuse box or distrubution box with out overloading existing setup.

    Thanks in advance

At least install new cables for sockets, cooker and lighting from main c u to the extension and while your at it install a new main c u. Doesn't sound like existing wiring is up to standard either, don't skimp on the electrics! Get a spark to check the lot and give you a quote.
