Only fools and horses.

What of the Americans ? Some might say Chalk and cheese. Leaving aside the British classics, as a kid, I remember there were some American ones like “I love Lucy” and later Taxi with Danny Devito . Much later likes of Seinfeld, Cheers appeared but I never watched any of them. “Friends”, yes cos rest of family could not get enough ! Any worthy winners here ?

Not a lover of American humour with the exception of Friends, I do like a bit of Friends

An example, I loved the British Office but couldnt get into the American office, wasn't funny to me.

OF&H is the best TV show of all time! It's one of those shows you could just stick on at any time and have a good chuckle.

Some of the best bits are when the actors almost fall out of character. When Rodney is taking a bird to the cinema and Del is setting up Albert to be disgusted. And you can see David Jason trying so hard not to laugh. Quality show!

OF&H was so well put together ... I can remember the changeover from Grandad to Uncle Albert - it just worked.

Yes it did work, for years I preferred uncle Albert but I think grandad edges him with his one liners, some of the early episodes are brilliant

Anyone remember Mike Yarwood? I appeared on a christmas special in 1979 when I was a young up and coming star.

Yes, he lived in Wilmslow for many years. We did some work at his house when I was with Norweb, but he was away working so wasn't there.
