ooznest CNC ?

    I came across these while having a look at CNC diy routers.

    Anybody got one or how much use they are?

    They seem quite reasonable roughly £1500 for a set up plus router and extraction.

    That price is for one that will do 1200mm x 1200mm.

    Are they best for fine detail or can the cut 18mm boards etc.

    Claims they can cut up to 44mm but say on a 18mm mdf how many passes would it take and how long?

    They get great reviews for the product and after sales.

    I would be mainly cutting 3mm acrylics plus 6mm, 12mm and 18mm MDF

    I’ve never used one but check out Peter Millard YouTube channel he has one and reviews it

    Thanks hes a very watchable bloke, so will watch all his series.

    I like that hes a total novice with CNC and he seems to answer all the questions I want to ask
