My old petrol strimmer has died after many years, it was a B&Q ProPower special so spares are not available. I do not need to use one frequently as it is used a couple of times a year to clear a bit of a wasted area behind my garden fence. I was thinking of an electric cordless one, I am concerned they may be 'gutless'. What are peoples experiences and can a model be reccomended? Many thanks and stay well. Steve
Reading the reviews on Screwfix's cordless offering, I am not impressed. The cordless do seem 'gutless'. Some are inexpensive, but the price rockets when the cost of the battery and charger is added. I'm back thinking of getting a 2 stroke one. Maybe a Stihl. Any thoughts please?
And your grandchildren might still be able to get parts for it when they use it. They might not be able to get petrol though...
