    Hi,

Daughter is wanting the inside of our wooden garage boarded up, basically to make it look nicer as she uses it for gym and working out etc and crafting etc,

going to use OSB boards due to the cost of it, not fussed about insulation as she has been using it all since lockdown in Nov anyway,

when fitting the boards do I need to put anything in behind them? I’m only doing the walls, should I treat the other side before fitting?
    Thanks

Treat it for what. To prevent damp?

If the garage doesn’t leak I wouldn’t bother. But I definitely would insulate it. You’d be mad not to. Insulation rolls are so cheap and all you have to do is stuff it in the gap between the existing studs. Then board over the top.

sorry no damp in there, just thought I would need to do something before hand,

insulation just like the bubble foil? Or something different?

No. Insulation like loft insulation. Cheap, effective and easy to handle.
