    Hi people,

Im a keen DIY'er and im planning on building my son and outdoor raised playhouse, its gonna have a sand pit underneath then a raised deck above and playhouse on top!
When it comes to the posts, im using 3m posts which will go from the ground up to the roof to act as corners for the play house also, i hope that paints a bit of a picture as to my idea, my question is.......
Am i best to cut notches out of the posts so the 2x6 beams/joists actually sit in the posts to help carry the weight, or will that weaken the posts and im best to just use big long coach bolts to attach the beams to the posts? Just feels like them bolts would be under some amount of stress!
Also, if i should notch in the 2x6's, do i sink the entire beam/joist into the post (100x100) or just half the width as to not over thin the post?
I hope someone can make sense of that, as you can tell im just a DIY'er so please keep any response simple lol
    Thanks a bundle
