Outside consumer unit wiring

    I'd be surprised if they go anywhere.

    At least he put some sleeeving over the cores, making them double insulated ish.:D

    Is there an earth wire connected to the electricity suppliers cable, because I cannot see the actual means of earthing?

    Yes, there is at least an acknowledgement that you should not be able to see or touch the actual cable insulation.

    Strange that somebody knew that much, but thought it was ok to leave it like that.

    That Dymo tape label on the consumer unit saying that the maximum load should not exceed 100 amps gives the impression that the consumer unit was installed by someone who knows how to do things, but actually as the suppliers fuse is rated at 60 amps it just shows a lack of competence.
