Outside lighting on internal circuit

    I'm replacing the current fixture with another so can't be sure but I suspect whatever I get won't have facility for fitting swa glands, in which case I was thinking and additional suitable junction box with flexible cable between if needed.
    Do you foresee any problem?

    Btw I normally hate instructional videos as they take so long to explain but this guy is straightforward and clear. Thank you.

    If you were using a bulkhead fitting like this

    then you can gland the SWA straight in as it has 20mm knock outs. Otherwise you’ll need a suitable box. A Wiska 308 Plus earthing bars would be your best bet. Then suitable flex entering the box through suitable stuffing gland.
