Paint shop lighting

    Yeah, I'm not touching the booth. That has 72 tubes in and not a led in sight. I was going to use waterproof as the body shop has got a problem with damp. The customer is waiting for the landlord to sort the roof and drainage.

    Although if being mounted at lower levels, they provide additional protection. Open batten fittings would be a hazard. Many garages / body shops have lower wall mounted fluorescents as standard.

    Do you not find the LEDs cast too many shadows compared to fluorescent tubes, my LED site light is terrible for it, Bright as the sun directly in front of it but you can cause an eclipse just by going near it.

    Most leds are enclosed to a point

    With acetone cleaner, glassfibre resins to name a few, they have some very nasty inflammable vapours.
