I am looking to paint 4 old concrete garden planters as per the images attached. They were covered in moss/mud and have all been Jet washed clean.

The painting part is the easy bit but could someone advise the best way to keep an ‘aged’ look when painting new? I don't really want them looking like they've just come out of a garden centre.

Also, would masonry paint be ok to use in this instance? Sandtex or similar?

Any help or guidance would be appreciated.

The best advice would be to leave them as they are....natural, you have already knocked a good size chunk off there value by cleaning them, painting them will be a huge mistake and make them pretty much worthless.......leave well alone! :(
