I am hoping I can avoid retiling a whole bathroom. Is there a way I can successfully paint over existing bathroom tiles to make things look more modern or am I wasting my time? I did try this once before somewhere else years ago and after a few months the special paint started peeling. Am I missing a trick or two?
Ur wasting ure time m8....it will look naff....buy self adhesive vinyl wallpaper with tiles printed on it....looks much better.
We EMULSIONED over some tiles several times a while back - but only because the wife couldn't decide what colour to go for! Once I found a colour she was happy with the whole lot got ripped out and re-tiled. At least it was easier than going through six lots of tiles
