    Hi Folks.

When carrying out an installation on a Garage Conversion that is under the Control of the LABC does this electrical work need to be Notified separately, or would it be covered by the Customers notification.??

    Thanx in advance.

I always notify the work myself even when the customer is dealing through BC.

If LABC have been paid to come and inspect various stages of the extension, then the elec works are generally included within the fee. That's up here in the norht east anyway.

BUT was this declared/stated on the original LABC application?? If it wasn't then try and sweet-talk them into accepting this small omission so you can get them to do their unknowledgeable and (beyond) rudimentary checks on the elecs for free...
