Patio drainage against house

Morning all,

I'm in the process of laying a new patio up against the back of a house and I'm looking for some advice on drainage.

I'm intending raise the ground level so finished patio hight will be a minimum step out the back of some french doors. Finished patio high will be 70mm below dpc.

The patio will slope towards the house by the turn of a bubble and I'm intending to put aco drain long the whole face of the house which will connect into an existing surface water drain. With a damp proof membrane between the aco and house.

I was intending to connect a guttering downpipe into the aco which in turn is connected to surface water drainage. Downpipe will be offset from the aco drainage hole by about 300mm.

Questions are:

1. Has anyone had any issues with aco drain sitting against the side of house before at a 70mm minimum?

2. Should I be worried about the volume of water coming from the downpipe into the aco?

Thanks in advance for any answers!
