Fitting a length of Pigs Ear Handrail direct to a brick wall, what spacing of fixings would be the best, I was looking at maybe a Foot apart, to much or to little ?

What size length of screw would any one recommend ?

The fixings should only need to be about 3' apart, the length of fixing will depend on which part of the pigs ear you drill through but you should allow about 1 ½" of the screw into the wall.
