Plasterboard adhesive

Left some in a bucket and it went solid and rain and frost never made it crumble, just stayed Rock solid. So thought why not use it to patch up this little bit of concrete by the gate.

am obviously going to be slammed for this

but does anybody think it’ll set because 3 hours later it’s still as soft as it was when I laid it.

You should of run masking or duck tape either side to keep clean and bought some concrete mix you just add water for that repair.

Plasterboard adhesive is gypsum based and won't last long outside.

As for not setting it can take a few hours. And several days to dry out..

That's all I want to say..

On a cosmetic note - stark difference in colour between old and new

Is that ok and no issue there ?

Apart from this, no, it’s not suitable
