Plasterboarding - off floor?

    Hi

I’m about to insulate and sheet a workshop beside my house. Ceiling height is 2320, so less than a sheet, and timber kit has two lengths of 50mm CLS on top of the concrete floor (bottom chord?).

Should I sheet from floor to ceiling or should I leave a small gap off the floor? I’m planning skirting, but I read somewhere that I should leave a gap to prevent spills etc soaking into the plasterboard.

    Many thanks

Personally 25mm give or take, just because it’s half of the sole plate :)

Same as above, I usually use a couple of offcuts of board and place then under neath.
