Am in the plastering trade myself as u can see from my username!! Heh! I know someone who calls his own plastering biz "Mr Smooth" Plastering contractor and it sure works!! never short of work, u could always use your surname then plastering or Initials then plastering! like "SMiths' Plastering Co." or "MDS Plastering" get a cool logo to make it look great and pro! As ppl once they give u a chance and see your quality of work the word of mouth will go out and biz will pick up bit by bit or come streaming in.. who knows,, quality of work and honesty, reputation is most important. cheers,
"Get plastered!" ahh the old ones are the best.... If you can come up with a tag line like Mr smooth then go for it. If not just keep it simple like plasterboy suggested, but get a great logo sorted out. Up north in Newcastle (my patch) ive heard stories of a plasterer who goes by the title "the hollywood plasterer" RUMOUR has it he turns up for estimates/quotes AND work in a suit/shirt and tie! Aparently he does'nt see why he can't turn up to work looking smart. Personaly I think it's a load of multi finish but the story lives on....
Try These; Robbin Bastards Ltd Failed School (plastering) Ltd Smoothing **** Ltd While You Out I'll Do Your Wife (plastering) Ltd No Brains (plastering) Ltd Good luck
the best slogan i've seen was 'fed up with the cowboys try the indians' Only works if you are Indian though
How about - "Slop it on, charge a lot and leave you to clear up the mess Plastering Co" I think I've used them several times in the past
How about - "Slop it on, charge a lot and leave you to o clear up the mess Plastering Co" I think I've used them several times in the past These lads sound familiar to me as well
There is a 'Completely Plastered' in my area, noticed the van a while ago and now see it everyday parked in the same spot morning noon and night , The guy either works funny shifts or his 'catchy' name just aint cutting it!
All you have to do is think of a name easy to remember and not to much of a mouth full. I'm simply M Lawrence Plastering, not much thought went into it, i have a simple easy to read logo a simple company name and one hell of a lot of work. In other words its not how catchy the name is its how good your work is. I no longer advertise as i don't need to and its not my name that achieved that. Keep it simple
