I'm having an extension rendered soon and the Spreads doing the job have suggested using plastic beading all round.

    What do you guys reckon?

I can have Stainless if I want but they say it's an expense which is unnecessary!

Nothing wrong with plastic as far as I know. It can be more awkward to get absolutely straight as it's more flexible than metal ones, but that's the only 'drawback' that I know of.

    (Avoid galv'd like the plague...)
