   The new kitchen I am fitting needs the waste pipe to pass behind the built in oven. Do I need to use a 42mm copper pipe for this section or will it be OK in plastic?
   
   I would think ovens are very economical and little heat escapes.

   Have you checked the clearance behind the oven and the wall...most are pretty tight!
