Please can someone advise me on replacing a paramount wall above the stairs?

Hi there,

We had our asbestos ceilings removed and discovered all our internal walls upstairs are made of paramount wall partitions. I think it was on one of these Screwfix forums that someone said they're a fire hazard so I'm wanting to replace them all with ordinary stud walls. But I'm stumped with what to do with the wall over the stairs (I've attached a photo). Do I just securely attach the frame to the wall and ceiling rafters? (We have a fink design truss roof) or do I need to do something else to make it safe and meet building regs? Any help would be very gratefully received!! I've also added a photo of the exterior wall I'd presumably need to attach it to...
Thank you!

They are no more a fire hazard than anything else being as the plasterboard covering is fire rated for half hour or so itself, I would save yourself a large amount of work and leave be.

As Jord says they comply with regs and there are an awful lot out there.

By asbestos ceiling, do you mean Artex? TBH you've probably one more harm than good. Not all Artex contains asbestos and even where it does it's not a big percentage and undisturbed it's perfectly safe.
