We've just laid a patio in our garden, and the people we got the sand from, just gave it to us not in a bag, so it was loose on our drive and we took it round to the garden and put it on the grass. We've managed to get what's left into Rubble bags to put on Facebook for free, but how do I get rid of the rest that's just lying on the grass??

    Well that'll teach you. ;)
Normally we'd put a tarp down to make it easier to remove and keep the area clean.
You say MOT Type 1 sand?
Is it sand, or is it Type 1 MOT, which is hardcore, not sand.
If it's sand, brush it in to the grass, it'll be fine.

If it's hardcore, if you can, brush it on to a hard area where you can more easily pick it up.
Otherwise, brush it as best as you can, in to a pile, to pick it up, then any left will eventually mix with the soil.
