Hi all, I’m self employed and have been fitting kitchens for a ‘flat pack company’ and want to go out on my own, does anyone have any advice of what and how they quote to fit a full kitchen as I’ve only fitted and not quoted before. I.e price per unit, per worktop, price for fitting appliances etc etc.
Any advice would be more than helpful, thanks.

How long does it take you to do the work? How much do you want to take home each week? Add on tools, transport, accountants costs. Add on taxes. Charge accordingly. If you are really busy you are charging too little. If you are reading this site all the time then you are too expensive or too slow.

Personally try to hit 2k a week before any expenses. So unless it is a straightforward small kitchen ( about £1250 ) it is going to be £ 2000.
