Been told I need a new heat exchanger for our gas fired Potterton Suprima 100. How much should this cost to supply and fit? Just want to check I don't get ripped off.

  2. Totally guessing but I would expect the HE to cost about £230 and would take about two hours to fit and test.

These usually due to dirt in the system or a too low flow rate. I hope the underlying problem has been addressed !!!

Most people would think a new condensing boiler would be better value.
