I've installed a negative head whole house pump, the (hot)set up works like this:

    22mm from Warix to Pump

    22mm from pump

22x22x15mm T, 15mm to new kitchen tap (high pressure jobby) works great

22x22x22mm T, long run of 22mm to downstairs bathroom, then 22x22x15mm T to bathroom sink, old single brass tap (problem), 22 continues to bath (OK)

22mm continues to a NRV, then to upstairs bathroom then 22x22x22, 22mm to shower (great) and 22x15 reducer to bathroom sink (great)

The problem is with the tap in the downstairs bathroom, when you turn it on it splutters, spits and coughs, before finally working absolutely fine.

What is causing the spluttering? (male guests are getting wet trousers!) is it air? from where? or a vacuum created by using the kitchen tap? What can I do about it?
