As title chaps, a friend of mine has had a garage converted into a three story extension, the builder has run plastic pipes for Boiler feed and others, using push fit elbows all now buried under the concrete slab, which has now got underfloor heating installed as well (wet).
Imho surely 'o' rings etc only have a limited lifetime, thoughts?.
    Cheers people.

I know the Hep20 have a 50 year guarantee not sure about the other brands.

However, have a guarantee doesn't mean it won't fail - it just means they would replace the connector if it is their fault but you would still have to dig up the floor to get to it

A lot of plastic installed that way. As with compression the joint should be left accessible for maintainance purposes.
With modern pipe in pipe and manifold systems there's no need for any joints under the floor. And the pipe can be replaced also if necessary.
