The bathroom ceiling is painted wood and the humid air from the shower peels off the paint. Above the bathroom is a loft which is insulated using fibreglass. To reduce maintenance is is ok to clad the bathroom ceiling with a ceiling PVC cladding product (e.g. https://allpanels.co.uk/product/pvc...MI1I_h8cCf6wIViLPtCh1ROQbHEAkYCCABEgJPH_D_BwE) directly over the existing wooden cladding on the ceiling? Obviously at a minimum the paint on the wood would need to be scraped off.
