A true Brit who stood up for her Country by flying/ moving war planes to safe areas ready for action.

Oh how thoses who whine and winge while marching, protesting about nothing, you have a lot to learn about standing up for your rights.

I believe quite a few of those auxiliary pilots, mainly female, lost their lives doing this. Line of sight navigation is all very well till you get a spot of rain and fog.

Sad that there are so few veterans of WW2 left. The best generation.
I wish I had spoke about the First World War to the WW1 veterans when I had a chance.

People marching and protesting are standing up for their rights, without the suffragettes women wouldn't have the vote.
I'm sure RS thinks that was a backwards step too.
Talking of RS, were is he? I haven't seen a peep since from him since he advocated repatriating the descendents of slaves.

Weren’t some of those marches in London for women’s rights?

Although, can somebody tell me what rights women are missing now? Sure, I could, and probably should, google it - but that’d be cheating. Off the top of my head I can’t think of any. That doesn’t mean there aren’t any, just that this white, middle aged, male can’t think of any. The right to be a Catholic priest or an Imam is all I can think of, but neither of those are within our power to give.

But sure, I’m in favour of giving women those extra rights - whatever the hell they are.

What an insincere "tribute"

Just a vehicle for yet another attack on those you politically oppose.

Shameful.

How about control over their own bodies, as in NI?

Ah, but so carefully couched that no-one can criticise without being seen to diss' the 'heroes' as well.
