You seem to have a serious and unpleasant problem, Filly. Seriously.

Funny, I'd have thought the people demeaning the memory of dead war veteran the ones to have a serious and unpleasant problem. Still, takes Allsorts.

Careful, GB, DA etc, will have you for being racist posting pics like that.

GBs already show himself to be the exact type I originally posted this for.

My Dad fought in WW2, landed in France on D Day+1 and thought a united Europe was the best thing ever.
I'm glad he isn't alive to see it being torn apart by little englanders.

'Demeaning' by suggesting she'd be so appreciative of the long peace and the close relations we have with our former enemies that she could quite possibly have voted 'Remain'?

    Wow.

You seem to have a serious and unpleasant problem, Filly. Seriously.

I bet he did and then it all went wrong, hence our wanting to leave.

What exactly went wrong, 70 years of peace?

Close on, the last few years have been far from peaceful and worse is yet to come.
The bubble is bursting and when it does there's going to be all hell let loose.

    Garbage.

Takes a really special kind of lowlife to exploit the sad passing of a British heroine just to attempt to have a pop at others

What gives you the monopoly on being proud of being British or indeed being proud of British heroes.

That's a hell of an assumption to make, she could just have easily despised the EU, you just haven't got a clue, but are trying to make her death favourably to your side.

    Totally despicable.

One of my favourite Margaret Thatcher quotes, and oh so true.

"Most of the problems the world has faced have come from mainland Europe, and the solutions from outside it."

But 43 years of gradual control and money loss to the EU.
It wasn't strictly a "United" Europe, but a European 'Union' (which was never voted for).
Am sure those that fought in WW2 wanted real democracy.
(Sorry for answering someone else's question)

Yep, my grandfather was on the Somme as a teenager. Died of his injuries in 1951.

The plastic patriots invoking sacrifices like his to score political points are shameful.

Thats the way you act Biggles. You are the one using the death of a heroine to score cheap points.
