Not in all cases, but I am definitely against women having abortions just because it is easy.
And before you ask, - I am not a Catholic
Having an abortion is never easy and it's not up to you or anybody else to tell a woman what she can or cannot do with her body.

I think that point, which is always a major argument used in favour of abortion, is flawed.
Sure, it is the woman's body, - but does that mean any woman could terminate her babies just whenever she wants and indefinitely?
Remember most people are caused by mistakes!

He's not, I think he was suggesting that from both a moral and practical viewpoint, in this day and age, there are far easier and ethical methods of birth control, with abortion being on a need basis. Or perhaps you feel that birth control is wrong and every unwanted pregnancy should be solved by terminating a foetus.

Spot on! That was my point, but I couldn't have said it better.

Thats the way you act Biggles. You are the one using the death of a heroine to score cheap points.

No I'm not, I'm pointing out that before people go on silly stupid marches they should think of people like Mary and realise just how lucky they are.

Now you on the other hand are out to make it a different agenda completely and as I said to DA.

Totally dispicible.

So nobody should ever protest anything because a lady flew planes inWW2?

Yep, my grandfather was on the Somme as a teenager. Died of his injuries in 1951.

The plastic patriots invoking sacrifices like his to score political points are shameful.
My grandfather died in 1991, he was a motorcycle dispatch rider during WW2.
I'd listen for hours as he recited the shenanigans, he and his fellow conscripts adventured in.
I swear he'd still be alive today if WW2 had never happened.
All I can fib about is that he died of his injuries some 47 years later.

No Biggles. You decided to create a topic about a genuine British hero.

Nice thing to do.

But you couldnt resist the temptation to make sneering remarks as always.

Dont be ashamed of what you are.

Embrace your ignorant opportunism.

My Dad fought in WW2, landed in France on D Day+1 and thought a united Europe was the best thing ever.
I'm glad he isn't alive to see it being torn apart by little englanders.

Don't tell lies.

You voted Remain.

Only Brexiteers are allowed to have those who served in their families.

I embrace every second of it and totally despise every lefties attitude at trying to make it they agenda.
