Radiator btus

  1. I have a vertical double radiator rated at 11504 btus, at what temperature do I need to run my boiler at to attain this?

That rating is likely based on a temperature differential of 50 degrees or so, so say 65-75 degrees flow and 25 degrees return. The higher the temperature you run your boiler, the more heat will be given out, but the less efficient it becomes (assuming its a condensing boiler).

  3. Hi, yes I understand that the higher the boiler temperature the hotter the radiator, I just wanted to know at what boiler setting do they use to rate a radiator?
