Raimondi tile levelling system + electric UFH?

Morning. Tiling a kitchen which has electric UFH installed under a thin layer (4-5mm) of Self Levelling Compound. I've seen some good reviews on the Raimondi tile levelling system and would like to use them when laying wood effect porcelain tiles (200mm x 1124mm). A few questions:

    1. Is it ok to use the Raimondi system with electric UFH or will the plastic plugs that remain underneath the tile heat up/melt/smell when the heating comes on?

    2. Planning on using a 10mm half rounded notched trowel to lay. From the Raimondi videos they seem to show the tiles also being back buttered when laid as opposed to just laying them on the bed of adhesive. Is that the way to go?

    Cheers
