Rawlbolts

    I would just do the whole depth with the 16mm bit. Bear in mind that the depth of your fixture needs to be subtracted from that extra 50mm.

    My fixture is only 4mm thick. I’m worried about pushing the sleeve in too deep in to the wall, or is this unlikely happen?

    As you screw in the sleeve will be pulled towards you, so mot really an issue.

    I took some out recently and they were flush with the surface

    Will I be ok with these as I only my fixture depth is only 4mm?

    I’ll be drilling 111mm deep, and the sleeve will only cover 65mm. I’m wondering if I should’ve gone for something shorter maybe?

    It will depend on what you are fixing and the substrate.

    Have a look at te 75mm versions and see how long the shield is ...

    Or you could consider using the bolts from a shorter one in the longer shield ... provided they do not expand it when loose fitted.
