RCD in a hair salon

    Would benefit from a little advice!! I am installing a single phase split load rcd consumer unit into a hair salon can anyone tell if sockets are not allowed to be installed on rcd side to avoid nusiance tripping.

    From what?


    RCD protection 'generally' is for out side portable tools, or a shower unit...

    I suppose if your going to put the hairdryer in the wash basin then theres perhaps good reason to RCD...

    isuk, r u niceic registered? if so they would record non rcd protected gf sockets as a non compliance/defferment if the job come up for inspection. if worried about nuicance tripping taking out other circuits fit an rcbo on un-protected side for the skts.
