Reclaimed slate tiles

Hi all,

i have these very specific slate tiles I reclaimed from a property I bought 6 years ago. No idea what they would have been from/used for but have a very specific and unusual hole pattern, they’re also very thick and weighty. Anybody have any ideas? And if they have any value to them? Thanks.

A base for something like a posh clock perhaps.

For sure they'll have a value to someone (but where you find him...)
