Recommendations for Stamped Concrete Patio Installation?

Hey everyone,

I'm looking for recommendations for someone to install a stamped concrete patio.

I need to tear out my current 300 sq ft concrete patio and replace it with a new 550 sq ft stamped and stained concrete one. I got a rough quote over the phone of $10k for regular concrete and $20k for stamped and stained, which seemed high since it was just based on my budget and not an actual inspection.

I was thinking the price should be more in the $5-10k range for a stamped concrete patio.

Travel time from the UK across the pond would kill our competitiveness I reckon. Seriously though you don't tell contractors the rates you think are reasonable. You get a few quotes and if they are close together then that's the market price. As with any paving a lot of the cost will be below ground: what are you starting from?

Edit: dictated rates do of course apply to our farmers who get paid what the buyers decide effectively.
