    Hi

I am constructing some plywood shuttering ready to pour a concrete slab and would like to buy some release compound/oil so that the formwork will not stick to the concrete can anyone tell me where I might buy this? or suggest alternatives I only need a litre or two.

    Many thanks

Only this week i tried Travis and a local merchants for Shuttering oil or shutering grease, and both look blankly at me..

Used an old bottle of wood oil (teak oil or similar) and no problem..

You could try spray on cooking oil or some sunflower oil in a sprayer. Nice and cheap. and the bonus of your concrete smelling of chips. ;)
