Anyone in Screwfixland know where I can get an outdoor switch (to switch lights) that is operable by remote control? RF prefered to IR.

Customer wants to switch his pond lighting from the comfort of his conservatory, but I cannot lift the path to install a wired switch!!

i've used one of these before for pond and outdoor lighting, doddle to wire up

or depending on the distance what about a cheap remote socket outlet pack(3 for @20) and a large g-wizz box?

Why outdoor?. Surely the lighting power originates indoors?.

maybe pond is powered from the shed/garage hence no access to switchgear whilst sitting comfy in conservatory

Thanks Betty, I like the look of the Wise stuff, but where can one buy it from?

Also where can one get these remote sockets? What make?

Can't switch at the supply source - this would switch off the pumps and filters too!!!
