Removing ceramic bathtub

Hi, new to the forum, I am currently renovating a house I bought and I’m removing an old ceramic bathtub

the overflow pipe on the bath seems to be a pipe without a fixing on it (I.e there’s nothing to unscrew) and the plug bit on the inside of the bath is the same (no screws or anything and can’t be turned)

does anyone know how these are supposed to be removed? Or is it meant to just be cut off?

photo attached from behind bath (pipe coming out goes into wall)

thanks in advance
