I am currently in the process of turning a Renault Master into a camper van, and have realised that the default internal lights turn off after about 15 seconds after the door is closed. The lights have 3 positions; what I assumed to be on, off and auto, but in fact they are 2 autos and 1 off. This mean when we're getting ready to settle down in the evening we won't have any light. Is there any way to modify the lighting circuit so that the lights are have the expected 3 positions? Or at least stay on whilst the door is closed? Thanks in advance

You need to take a new lighting feed from your leisure battery, the standard lighting is of course powered by the starting battery, hence the timer.

Have you installed a 2nd battery ? And split charger ?
