    Hi Guys,

I've had some rendering done recently and the spreads that did it have not rendered the reveals at the top of the windows as they reckon that it can cause damp?

Left as they are it all looks a bit rubbish, is there any mileage in this or is it a load of old tosh.

BTW the wall under the render is block and some of the lintels are cast in situ concrete while others are new steel lintels.

    Cheers in advance! :)

He's having you on. The only thing to be careful of when rendering reveals/sills is to ensure there is a 'very' slight fall away from the window to prevent the water 'pooling' against the window when it rains.
