Need to repair sagging brick soldier course (outer skin of cavity wall construction) above 2m span window. Know I can use Acro props to stablise brickwork above before cutting out triangular section of failed brickwork. Is there an alternative method using a length of steel plate and steel pins/needles, fixed along a section of brickwork 10 courses or so (top of the failed triangle) above window, supported by the brick piers either side of window? Why would I want to do this? I've got an issue with supporting the bottom of the Acro props.
