I'm looking to replace an older 5ft light fitting in the kitchen at my rented apartment.
I've not had to do anything like this before so just looking for some tips and advise on what I could buy from screwfix that would suit my needs.

I've got a bunch of photos attached that show the existing fitting and wiring.
Any ideas on what would work best? It's in the kitchen so ideally the new fluorescent lamp would be a warm light, not a bright white.
I'd be looking to replace the whole thing with another 5ft fluorescent fitting - just want something that was made while I was alive.

    Thanks very much in advance.
